SpiceJet introduces Riyadh as its 10th international destination
Launches eight new non-stop international flights
  • First Indian LCC to connect Mumbai with Riyadh and Dhaka and Delhi with Dhaka and Jeddah

GURUGRAM, June 25, 2019:SpiceJet, the country’s favourite carrier, today announced the launch of eight new non-stop international flights from the country’s busiest metros of Mumbai and Delhi. The airline is the first Indian LCC to connect Mumbai with Riyadh and Dhaka and Delhi with Dhaka and Jeddah. Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia, earmarks SpiceJet’s 10th international destination and the fourth station in the Middle Eastern market. The flights to Dhaka and Jeddah are effective from the last week of July while the flight to Riyadh will commence on August 15, 2019.

SpiceJet will service Mumbai-Riyadh-Mumbai, Mumbai-Dhaka-Mumbai, Delhi-Dhaka-Delhi and Delhi-Jeddah-Delhi with daily non-stop flights. The airline will deploy its 168-seater Boeing 737-800 aircraft on all the routes.

SpiceJet is the only Indian budget airline to operate to Saudi Arabia and our new flights to Riyadh and Jeddah should greatly benefit the thousands of pilgrims traveling from India."

SpiceJet is celebrating the launch by announcing introductory all inclusive promotional fare starting at INR 14227/- on Mumbai-Riyadh, INR 12263/- on Riyadh-Mumbai, INR 10677/- on Mumbai-Dhaka, INR 10732/- on Dhaka-Mumbai, INR 9276/- on Delhi-Dhaka, INR 10432/- on Dhaka-Delhi, INR 16290/- on Delhi-Jeddah and INR 15263/- on Jeddah-Delhi routes.

Riyadh, the capital and largest city of Saudi Arabia, is also the Kingdom’s key business centre and financial hub. City’s King Khalid International Airport is one of the largest airports in the world serving over 26 million passengers every year. Besides Riyadh, SpiceJet also operates flights to Jeddah, Dubai and Muscat in the gulf region.

The first Indian LCC to connect Jeddah with Hyderabad and Kozhikode, the airline is all set to commence operations on the Mumbai-Jeddah route from July 5, 2019. SpiceJet also connects Dhaka and Kolkata with double daily flights.

With the new flights, passengers from Riyadh, Dhaka and Jeddah will be able to easily travel to a host of other cities both on SpiceJet’s domestic as well as international network via multiple onward connections from Mumbai and Delhi.
