SpiceJet launches premium lounges at Varanasi, Jaipur and Guwahati
Extends its popular red hot offerings on an array of additional brands
  • Customers to pre-buy service (only available at domestic terminals) from websites and reservations for Rs600

GURGAON, May 26, 2016: SpiceJet, the country’s favourite low-cost carrier, today, officially opened its new premium lounges at Club One Class Lounge, International Airport, Jaipur, Zesto Lounge, SHA, Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi and Prive Lounge at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati offering its customers an exquisite space to unwind, munch, indulge and even work at one’s own leisure just before they take their flight.

Apart from comfortable seating, the lounge offers an array of facilities which include complimentary Wi-Fi access, flight information screen, televisions, newspapers and magazines among others. The service, which is available only at domestic departure terminals, will also offer a fixed menu to be served during the operational hours of the lounge. It will include soft beverages, vegetarian and non-vegetarian starters and desserts.

The service can be pre-bought from websites and reservations at a minimal cost of Rs600 for a Separate Service Request (SSR) to be added in the itinerary and the e-ticket. Whereas to avail the service, the customer can simply collect the lounge card from the SpiceJet check in counters and produce the same at the lounge. The new launches are an extension of the airline’s existing portfolio of premium lounges at Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kochi airports which offer services at both, domestic and international airports, for a minimal price of Rs600 and Rs1200 respectively.

The additional facilities the customers can avail at these lounges include Drinks (restricted to 2 in case of alcoholic drinks at international departure terminals), Hot Shower Facility (applicable for international departures only) and mobile/laptop battery charging facility, among others

The airline also announced an array of new extended offerings it has added to its ‘Red Hot Offers’. The airline, which has teamed up with popular retail chains and food joints such as Delight foods,Videocon d2h, The Green Gourmet, Pind Balluchi, Ferns & Petals, Yepme.com, O2 Spa and Baby Oye.com, offers special discounts ranging from 15% to 50% on purchase of products and services.

Customers can obtain their discounts by simply producing their SpiceJet boarding pass at these retail outlets, or by using a promo code for online shopping. The promo code will be sent to the registered email ID upon the completion of travel.
