SpiceJet registers highest occupancy of 92.1% in October Lowest Cancellations at 0.13%
Highest PLF for seven consecutive months SpiceJet at No.2 for On-time performance at 86.9%

Gurgaon, 22 November, 2015: SpiceJet, the country’s favourite low-cost carrier, today announced that it has yet again achieved the highest passenger load factor (PLF) of 92.1% for the month of October 2015, according to data published by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The airline has set a new benchmark in Indian aviation by achieving over 90% load factor for six consecutive months. It also the seventh successive month that SpiceJet has registered highest load factor of all airlines in India.

The airline has also improved it’s On-Time Performance (OTP) which stands at 86.9% for October. At Mumbai airport, considered to be one of the busiest airports in the country, SpiceJet has topped the departure OTP charts with 87.8%.

The flight cancellations for the airline have also declined consistently in the past few months, with the rate of cancellation for October 2015 being just 0.13%, the lowest of all airlines in India.

PLF is a measure of aircraft seats utilization, it measures the percentage of seats filled.
