Gurugram, September 22, 2017: SpiceJet, the country’s favourite
low-cost carrier, today announced the launch of a new daily evening direct flight on
the Jaipur – Udaipur – Jaipur sector starting from October 13, 2017. This will be in
addition to the daily morning flight. Bookings for tickets on the new frequency are now
open.
Deploying its Bombardier Q400 aircraft on the sector, SG 2971 will take off from Jaipur
at 6.35 pm and reach Udaipur at 7.45 pm. The return flight from Udaipur, SG 2972, will
take off at 8.05 pm and reach Jaipur at 8.55 pm. With the addition of this new flight,
the airline will now connect Udaipur twice daily from Jaipur.
Jaipur is also connected with Delhi, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jammu
and Surat with direct flights and connects Goa and Mumbai via Ahmedabad and Surat
respectively and a host of other Indian cities on the domestic network. Internationally
Jaipur is connected with a daily flight to Dubai and convenient via connections to
Muscat, Colombo and Bangkok.
Passengers from Udaipur get convenient onward connections to Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa,
Hyderabad & Kolkata via Mumbai, Delhi and Jaipur on the domestic network and Bangkok,
Dubai & Kabul on SpiceJet’s international network.
Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, is one of the most notable destinations in India
renowned for historical importance. It is not only well-known for being an important
tourist hotspot but also as an upcoming business center with presence across
manufacturing and information technology space. On the other hand, the picturesque city
of Udaipur, also known as the ‘City of lakes’, is an important tourist destination.
Once the capital of the kingdom of Mewar, it is now part of the Smart Cities mission
initiated by the Government of India.
