URGENT ALERT FOR INTERNATIONAL PASSENGERS:

Departing from India:

All passengers traveling to countries which make it mandatory to carry a negative RT-PCR test report must ensure that their reports carry a QR code linked to the original report.

With effect from February 22, 2021 (2359 hrs), below guidelines will be applicable to all International passengers arriving in India:

  • A negative RT-PCR test report will be mandatory for all international passengers arriving in India. The report should have been conducted within 72 hrs of the flight.
  • All passengers must fill in the Self Declaration Form on the online Air Suvidha portal - https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration and must also upload their negative RT-PCR test report before the scheduled departure.
  • Passengers must carry their original negative RT-PCR test report along with the print-out of the Self Declaration/PCR updation on the Air Suvidha portal while checking in for the flight.
  • All passengers travelling arriving from/transiting through flights originating in the UK/Europe/Middle East shall be mandatorily subjected to self-paid confirmatory molecular test at the Indian airport.
  • All passengers are required to have the Aarogya Setu App installed on their mobile phones.

Update for Asymptomatic Passengers:

Telangana:

  • No quarantine.
  • RT-PCR test report: Not required.

Himachal Pradesh:

  • No quarantine.
  • RT-PCR test report: Not required.

Punjab:

  • No quarantine.
  • RT-PCR test report/Vaccination Certificate: Not required.

State-wise guidelines

Domestic Passengers:

It is mandatory for all passengers arriving at Andaman to carry their negative RT-PCR test report issued from an ICMR approved lab. Test should’ve been taken within 48 hrs prior to starting the journey. Passengers must report to the check-in counter for the document check before proceeding for security check at the departure airport.

All incoming passengers from the mainland, irrespective of being tested negative, will have to undergo 7 days of mandatory home/institutional quarantine.

All passengers proceeding to Swaraj Dweep, Shaheed Dweep and Little Andaman, irrespective of being tested negative, shall invariably undergo 10 days of mandatory home quarantine.

With effect from April 22, 2021, all tourism activities will stand suspended for a period of 04 weeks. Any person violating this directive shall be liable to pay a fine of Rs. 5,000 each time.

All passengers arriving at Andaman will have to undergo a Rapid Antigen Test which will be conducted at the designated testing center which is approximately 1.5 km away from the airport. Transport to the testing centre will be provided by the A&N Administration.

Check-in baggage of the passengers will be available at the testing center instead of the Arrival hall.

Passengers who test positive will have to undergo institutional quarantine as per the Standard Operating Procedures in the Government facilities. They will also be given an option of a paid quarantine in the designated hotels.

All passengers must fill and keep the Performa handy which is required to be submitted to the Authorities on arriving at A&N.

International Passengers:

All passengers arriving from International flights into India must have the Aarogya Setu App installed on their mobile phones. 

It is mandatory for all arriving passengers to submit a self-declaration form on the online portal –www.newdelhiairport.in, atleast 72 hours prior to their travel. 

RT-PCR test is not required for passengers travelling on international flights to India on direct flights and also not required for passengers who do not wish to seek exemption from institutional quarantine. 

All asymptomatic passengers who are travelling on connecting flights will be exempted from institutional quarantine at the transit city if they are carrying a negative RT-PCR test report which has been conducted within 96 hrs prior to their flight. They can also get the test done at the transit city airport. If the test result is negative, passenger will be permitted to travel further on the domestic flight.    

On arriving at the destination city, all state guidelines will be applicable. 

All asymptomatic passengers arriving from international fights are exempted from institutional quarantine if they are travelling under exceptional and compelling circumstances, such as pregnancy, death in family, serious illness, and parent(s) accompanied by children of the age of 10 years or below, or those who are travelling due to personal distress. However, these passengers will have to undergo mandatory 14 days of home quarantine. Exemption from institutional quarantine can be sought if they have applied for it online on www.newdelhiairport.in, atleast 72 hours prior to their flight.

Passengers may also seek exemption from institutional quarantine by submitting a negative RT-PCR test report on arrival. This test should have been conducted within 72 hrs prior to their flight. The test report should also be uploaded on the portal for consideration, along with a declaration with respect to the authenticity of the report.

Passengers arriving without the negative RT-PCR test report and wishing to seek an exemption from institutional quarantine may also avail the facility available at the airports to undergo RT-PCR testing (where such provisions exist), at their own cost.

All passenger who will be given exemption from institutional quarantine must self-monitor their health.

Passenger arriving without the RT-PCR negative report and not opting for RT-PCR test at the airport (if facility is available)/arriving at an airport where testing facility is not available will have to undergo mandatory 7 days of institutional quarantine followed by 7 days of home quarantine.

Domestic Passengers:

All passengers traveling to Andhra Pradesh must enroll themselves on the Spandana website https://www.spandana.ap.gov.in/ , before their travel.

All asymptomatic passengers arriving at Andhra Pradesh will have to undergo home quarantine for 14 days.

Domestic Passengers:

All passengers arriving at Assam will have to undergo Covid-19 Rapid Antigen test. Following the negative result of the Rapid Antigen test, passengers will also have to undergo a self paid RT-PCR test at the Govt. authorized rate of INR 500 per test.

All passengers will have to undergo 7 days of home quarantine.

The following asymptomatic residents are exempted from the tests at arrival, provided they carry their proof of residence:

  1. Residents of North Eastern states other than Assam arriving from outside of Assam and directly travelling to any other North Eastern state.
  2. All transit passengers from Intra Assam and Inter North Eastern state routes.

Domestic Passengers:

It is mandatory for all passengers arriving at Darbhanga from the states of Maharashtra, Kerala and Punjab to carry their negative RT-PCR report, issued within 72 hrs prior to arrival. Passengers may be denied boarding if they do not carry the said reports.

Passengers arriving from other states are subject to random testing at the arrival airport.

Those who are tested positive will have to undergo isolation. Isolation guidelines will be decided by the District Administration.

All asymptomatic passengers arriving at Delhi must self monitor their health for 14 days.

All passengers arriving at Delhi may be subject to a free random RT-PCR test on arrival.

It is mandatory for all passengers to wear masks and to maintain social distancing norms at all times during their travel. All passengers must ensure strict compliance of Covid-19 protocols. Failure to do so may lead to issuance of Challan/fine as decided by the Delhi Govt.

As per the orders from the Govt. of Delhi, passengers will only be permitted to travel to/from the airport during the night curfew period provided they carry their proof of travel, i.e. valid ticket / boarding pass.

International Passengers:

All passengers arriving from International flights in Delhi must have the Aarogya Setu App installed on their mobile phones.

A negative RT-PCR test report is mandatory for all international passengers arriving in Delhi. The test should have been conducted within 72 hrs of the flight.

All passengers must fill in the Self Declaration Form on the online Air Suvidha portal - https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration and must also upload their negative RT-PCR test report, atleast 72 hrs prior to departure.

All passengers must take an undertaking that they would undergo home quarantine/self-monitoring of their health for 14 days or as warranted by the state/appropriate authority.

Passengers must carry their original negative RT-PCR test report along with the print-out of the Self Declaration/PCR updation on the Air Suvidha portal while checking in for the flight.

All arrival passengers will be subjected to another self-paid RT-PCR/Molecular test at the airport on arriving in Delhi, for which the cost is INR 800 (government approved rate) and INR 1300 (fast track sample collection).

Additionally, all passengers arriving/transiting from the UK, Brazil or South Africa and transiting to another Indian city from the port of entry will be required to wait for their negative Covid test reports before proceeding for the next flight. Thus, they are advised to keep a minimum connecting time of 6-8 hrs from arrival.

Domestic Passengers:

All asymptomatic passengers are exempted from quarantine.

All passengers arriving at Goa must carry their negative report for RT-PCR/ TrueNat/ CBNAAT, Rapid Antigen Test or any other test as approved by ICMR, sample for which should have been collected within 72 hrs prior to arrival.

Passengers without the above mentioned report may not be accepted for the flight.

Below categories of passengers are exempted from carrying the test report, provided they carry their full vaccination certificate (vaccines should have been completed at least 14 days prior to the date of arrival):

  • The workforce i.e. passengers who enter the state of Goa for purposes of work in industries, labor-force, construction etc.
  • Passengers who enter the state of Goa for the purpose of business and employment.
  • Residents of Goa, who are stranded outside Goa for pandemic related issue and the like.
  • Residents of Goa, who on account of their work requirements/ medical reasons are required to travel outside the state of Goa and return to the state after a few days.

It is mandatory for all passengers arriving into Gujarat (except Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Kandla) to carry their RT-PCR negative test report; test for which should have been conducted within 72 hrs prior to arrival. Passengers without the valid test report may be subject to a self-paid test on arrival and may be required to wait at the airport till the results are declared negative.

Asymptomatic passengers arriving at Surat, Ahmedabad, Porbandar and Rajkot, are exempted from quarantine and must self monitor their health for atleast 14 days.

All asymptomatic passengers arriving at Kandla will have to undergo thermal screening at the arrival airport.

All passengers arriving at Surat from any state other than Gujarat are required to carry their negative RT-PCR report mandatorily; test for which should have been taken within 72 hrs prior to prior to arrival. Passengers without the valid test reports may be subject to a self-paid test at the arrival airport.

All passengers arriving at Surat who are found to be symptomatic during the screening will have to undergo a Rapid Antigen Test. It will be mandatory for them to download the SMC Covid-19 Tracker App.

All passengers arriving at Surat must fill the Self Declaration Form. Steps can be followed as mentioned below or refer to the QR code to know details:

International Passengers:

All passengers arriving from international flights in Gujarat must have the Aarogya Setu App installed on their mobile phones.

A negative RT-PCR test report is mandatory for all international passengers. The test should have been conducted within 72 hrs of the flight.

It is mandatory for all arriving passengers to submit a self-declaration form on the online portal – https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration and must also upload their negative RT-PCR test report along with their travel history of last 14 days if they are traveling from/through UK, Brazil and South Africa, atleast 72 hrs prior to arrival.

Passengers must carry the hard copy of the successful Self Declaration/PCR updation on the Air Suvidha portal; this is required to be further submitted at the APHO counter at the arrival Airport.

All asymptomatic passengers whose final destination is Ahmedabad and those who are transiting through Ahmedabad must carry their negative RT-PCR test reports, conducted within 72 hrs prior to their flight departure.

As directed by the Ministry of Health, Govt. of India, a mandatory self-paid RT-PCR test will be done for all passengers after their arrival at Ahmedabad. Cost of the test would be INR 800 per passenger.

To expedite the process for collecting samples, passengers are required to fill the form and details in this link http://lims.supratechonline.com/#/laboratory/public/icmr-covid-form?branchid=1 before departing from the origin station.

Exemption from pre-arrival RT-PCR test due to death in the family can be sought by applying for it online on www.newdelhiairport.in, atleast 72 hours prior to their flight.

All passengers must take an undertaking that they would undergo home quarantine/self-monitoring of their health for 14 days or as warranted by the state/appropriate authority.

Passengers who are transiting to another Indian city from the port of entry are advised to keep a minimum connecting time of 6-8 hrs from arrival.

International passengers arriving at Surat will have to undergo mandatory home quarantine for 7 days and must monitor their health for 14 days. 

It is mandatory for all international passengers arriving at Surat to fill the online “Novel Corona Self Reporting Form” and to download the SMC Covid-19 Tracker App.

They must also fill the Self Declaration Form prior to their arrival at Surat. Steps can be followed as mentioned below:

All transit passengers and those who would be exiting Jharkhand within 72 hrs of their arrival into the state are exempted from home quarantine.

All passengers arriving at Jammu & Kashmir will have to undergo home quarantine for 14 days. They must also carry a postpaid contactable phone number with an updated Aarogya Setu App.

It is mandatory for all passengers to undergo a Covid-19 Rapid Antigen testing at the arrival airport. Passengers who carry their RT-PCR negative test report will be exempted from the testing at arrival. Sample for this test should have been collected 72 hrs prior to arrival in Srinagar and 48 hrs prior to arrival in Jammu.

Passengers travelling between Jammu and Srinagar will be exempted from Covid-19 antigen testing.

Personnel of Defense and Central Armed Police Forces returning on duty, including transit labour hired by BRO to go to Ladakh, will be exempted from Covid-19 antigen testing. They will be permitted to proceed for institutional quarantine at their respective units as per their internal procedures.

They can also get the test done at the transit city airport. If the test result is negative, passenger will be permitted to travel further on the domestic flight.    

On arriving at the destination city, all state guidelines will be applicable. 

All asymptomatic passengers arriving from international fights are exempted from institutional quarantine if they are travelling under exceptional and compelling circumstances, such as pregnancy, death in family, serious illness, and parent(s) accompanied by children of the age of 10 years or below, or those who are travelling due to personal distress. However, these passengers will have to undergo mandatory 14 days of home quarantine. Exemption from institutional quarantine can be sought if they have applied for it online on www.newdelhiairport.in, atleast 72 hours prior to their flight.

Passengers may also seek exemption from institutional quarantine by submitting a negative RT-PCR test report on arrival. This test should have been conducted within 72 hrs prior to their flight. The test report should also be uploaded on the portal for consideration, along with a declaration with respect to the authenticity of the report.

Passengers arriving without the negative RT-PCR test report and wishing to seek an exemption from institutional quarantine may also avail the facility available at the airports to undergo RT-PCR testing (where such provisions exist), at their own cost.

Domestic Passengers:

All asymptomatic passengers arriving at Karnataka are exempted from quarantine. However, they must self monitor themselves for 14 days.

All passengers arriving from the states of Maharashtra and Kerala must carry their RT-PCR negative test reports, which should not be older than 72 hrs prior to arrival.

Following categories of passengers are exempted from carrying the test reports:

  1. Constitutional functionaries and health care professionals.
  2. Children below the age of two (2) years.
  3. Travel in cases of dire emergencies such as death in the family, medical treatment etc., passengers’ swab shall be collected on arrival in Karnataka with necessary contact details etc. as duly verified from passengers’ ID cards. On receipt of the RT-PCR test report, further action will be taken as per the state protocol.

Any violation to the Covid-19 preventive guidelines will attract penal action under the provision of Disaster Management Act 2005 and Karnataka Infectious Diseases Regulations 2020.

International Passengers:

A negative RT-PCR test report is mandatory for all international passengers (including children) arriving at Karnataka. The report should have been conducted within 72 hrs of the flight.

Passengers must carry their original negative RT-PCR test report along with the print-out of the Self Declaration/PCR updation on the Air Suvidha portal while checking in for the flight.

All international passengers arriving at Mangalore and Bengaluru will be subjected to another RT-PCR test on arriving at the airport, even if they are carrying their negative test report or have taken the Covid-19 vaccination. The cost of this test at the airport will have to be borne by the passenger.

Domestic Passengers:

All passengers must download the Aarogya Setu App and shall mandatorily be required to register their details and obtain an e-pass from http://covid19jagratha.kerala.nic.in/

E-pass is required to be shown to the Health officials at arriving airports.

All passengers arriving at Kerala must either carry their full vaccination certificate for Covid-19 (both doses) or their negative SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR test - swab collection for which should have been conducted within 48 hrs prior to arrival.

Passengers without the report shall be required to undergo a self-paid RT-PCR test at the arrival airport. The testing facility is available inside the Kochi airport and outside the airports at Trivandrum, Calicut, and Kannur.

Passengers who do not undergo RT-PCR testing will have to remain in room isolation for 14 days from the date of entry in Kerala and must self-monitor their health.

All arrival passengers shall adhere to strict universal masking, hand hygiene and physical distancing. Any passenger who develops Covid-19 symptoms must seek medical attention immediately.

Symptomatic passengers arriving in Kerala must carry their negative RT-PCR report.

A negative RT-PCR test report (RT-PCR/ TruNat Covid/ Antibody for passengers returning from Male) is mandatory for all international passengers arriving at Kerala. The test should have been conducted within 72 hrs prior to the flight.

It is also mandatory to fill in the Self Declaration Form on the online Air Suvidha portal - https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration and to upload their negative Covid-19 test report, as applicable, before the scheduled departure.

Passengers must carry their original negative RT-PCR test report along with the print-out of the Self Declaration/PCR updation on the Air Suvidha portal while checking in for the flight.

A physical copy of the self declaration form is also required to be filled by passengers for the purpose of state tracking with regards to Covid Jagratha - https://covid19jagratha.kerala.nic.in/ . This form is not required if the passenger has already acquired a Covid Jagratha permit prior to the arrival.

All passengers will also be subjected to a free confirmatory molecular/ RT-PCR tests on arrival at the destination airports of Calicut, Cochin and Trivandrum.

Passenger without the valid RT-PCR negative report issued from an ICMR certified lab will have to mandatorily undergo a quarantine of seven days at their place of stay. Such passengers may be subjected to an RT-PCR test and will be released only if the test results are negative.

Workers are advised to arrive at Ladakh through contractor(s) or Labour agencies; they will be exempted from quarantine if they are also carrying their Covid-19 negative certificate issued within 96 hrs before arrival by an ICMR authorized lab. Workers who do not carry this report will have to undergo 7 days of institutional quarantine followed by a Covid-19 test.

Passengers without the test report may not be accepted for the flight.

Passengers who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 with both the doses at least 15 days prior to their arrival in Maharashtra are exempted from carrying an RT-PCR test report. They must, however, carry their vaccination certificate as issued through the COWIN App.

Infants and Armed forces personnel are exempted from the RT-PCR test.

To seek exemption from carrying the RT-PCR test for travel to Mumbai, it is mandatory for the passenger to raise the request online at https://portal.mcgm.gov.in, before the travel. Application sent for exemption via e-mails will not be accepted.

As per the orders from the Govt. of Maharashtra, passengers will only be permitted to travel to/from the airport during the restrictions/lockdown period provided they carry their proof of travel, i.e. valid ticket / boarding pass.

All passengers must fill in the Self Declaration Form on the online Air Suvidha portal - https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration and must also upload their negative RT-PCR test report along with travel history of last 14 days if travelling from UK, Brazil, South Africa or Middle East, atleast 72 hrs prior to departure.

All passengers must take an undertaking that they would undergo 7 days of institutional quarantine and further 7days of home quarantine as warranted by the state/appropriate authority. Passengers who have taken 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine are exempted from institutional quarantine but they will have to undergo 7 days of home quarantine.

Passengers arriving/transiting through flights originating from the UK, Europe or Middle East may pre-register themselves at https://covid19.suburbandiagnostics.com/signin. You may also visit this registration link by scanning the QR code provided here.

Passengers must carry their original negative RT-PCR test report along with the print-out of the Self Declaration/PCR updation on the Air Suvidha portal while checking in for the flight.

All arrival passengers will be subjected to another self-paid RT-PCR/Molecular test at the airport on arriving into Mumbai, for which the cost is INR 850 (for Mumbai). Different cities in Maharashtra will have different costs.

If a passenger is transiting to another Indian city from the port of entry, they are advised to keep a minimum connecting time of 6-8 hrs from arrival.

Further, they shall have to undergo a mandatory Rapid Antigen Test upon arrival at Odisha. Passengers who test positive will have to comply with the state’s protocols for Covid-19 treatment.

Passengers who do not comply with Covid-19 protocols and home quarantine guidelines as issued by the MoHFW/ H & FW Department of the Govt. of Odisha shall be quarantined in institutional facilities for 7 days.

It is mandatory for all passengers arriving at Rajasthan to carry their negative RT-PCR test report, test for which should have been conducted within 72 hrs prior to arrival. Passengers without test reports will have to undergo mandatory quarantine for 15 days. Institutional or home quarantine will be as advised by the local Govt. agency.

Passengers who carry their vaccination certificate (of at least one dose) will be exempted from carrying the RT-PCR test report and quarantine.

All Indian Armed Forces personnel are exempted from carrying the RT-PCR report .

A negative RT-PCR test report is mandatory for all international passengers arriving in Jaipur. The test should have been conducted within 72 hrs of the flight.

All passengers must fill in the Self Declaration Form on the online Air Suvidha portal - https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration and must also upload their negative RT-PCR test report along with their travel history for the last 14 days if they are traveling from the UK, Brazil or South Africa, atleast 72 hrs prior to departure.

All passengers must take an undertaking that they would undergo home quarantine/self-monitor their health for 14 days or as warranted by the state/appropriate authority.

Passengers must carry their original negative RT-PCR test report along with the print-out of the Self Declaration/PCR updation on the Air Suvidha portal while checking in for the flight.

All arrival passengers will be subjected to another self-paid RT-PCR/Molecular test at the airport on arriving, for which the cost would be INR 500.

Passengers transiting to another Indian city from the port of entry are advised to keep a minimum connecting time of 6-8 hrs from arrival.

Domestic Passengers:

All tourists visiting Sikkim are required to fill in their requisite details in the forms available under the tab for tourists in the Tourism Portal https://sikkimtourism.gov.in.

Only those passengers who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 are permitted to travel to Sikkim.

If a family is travelling together as tourists to Sikkim and atleast one of them is fully vaccinated (both doses) and others are partially vaccinated (one dose) or accompanied by children below the age of 18 years, all of them would still be permitted to enter Sikkim, provided that a valid negative RT-PCR test report must be carried by all those members who are only partially vaccinated & children below the age of 18 years. Test for their RT-PCR report should have been conducted within 72 hrs prior to arrival.

A Travel card can be downloaded after filling all the sections and entering relevant details. While applying for the Travel card, It is recommended to book only the health & safety compliant accommodation units and to avail transport & other services from the health & safety compliant tour operators/service providers.

Travel Card is required to be updated by the tourists themselves or the Hotels/Tour operators/TICs on daily basis thereafter during their stay in Sikkim.

Travel Card must be carried by tourists at all times. They may be asked to produce it for verification and checking by the designated Enforcement officers deputed for such purpose.

Tourists may be fined by the Enforcement officers if observed to violate the requirements for social distancing, wearing of mask, non-updation of travel card or availing services from non-compliant accommodation units, Tour operators/Service providers.

Passengers arriving from other states will have to undergo 14 days of home quarantine.

All asymptomatic business travelers who exit the state within 72 hrs and have a valid return ticket will be exempted from quarantine.

The RT-PCR reports are also required to be submitted to the District collectors at arrival in Tamil Nadu. Basis the negative RT-PCR report, all asymptomatic passengers who are travelling on connecting flights will be exempted from quarantine at the transit city. On arriving at the destination city, all state guidelines will be applicable.

All asymptomatic passengers will have to undergo 14 days of home quarantine.

Additionally, all passengers arriving/transiting from UK, Brazil, South Africa, Europe and Middle East will have to give their test samples at the designated area in the arrival terminal. They can exit only after the confirmation of a negative test report. Those who are found negativeshall be allowed to take their connecting flights and would be advised home quarantine for 7 days and continue to monitor their health for further 7 days.

All asymptomatic passengers arriving at Telangana are exempted from quarantine. However, they must self-monitor their health for at least 14 days.

International Passengers:

All passengers arriving from International flights in Telangana must have the Aarogya Setu App installed on their mobile phones.

A negative RT-PCR test report is mandatory for all international passengers arriving in Hyderabad. The test should have been conducted within 72 hrs of the flight.

All passengers must fill in the Self Declaration Form on the online Air Suvidha portal - https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration and must also upload their negative RT-PCR test report along with travel history of last 14 days, atleast 72 hrs prior to departure.

Passengers coming from/transiting through UK, South Africa, Brazil must declare their travel history on the Air Suvidha portal.

All passengers must carry their original negative RT-PCR test report along with four (4) print-out of the Self Declaration/PCR updation on the Air Suvidha portal while checking in for the flight. These are required to be submitted to the APHO, State Doctor Desk, State protocol and immigration authorities.

Passengers arriving in Hyderabad due to an exigency of death in the family can seek exemption by applying for it on the online portal (www.newdelhiairport.in) at least 72 hours before boarding. However, after arrival, such passengers will have to undergo RT-PCR test at their own cost and exit the terminal.

For such passengers, the costs of the tests taken at the arrival airport and for exiting the airport are prescribed by the government.

For passengers who would be transiting and waiting for their test results, the charges may be levied as per the facilities provided by the airport.

If a passenger is transiting to another Indian city from the port of entry, they are advised to keep a minimum connecting time of 8 hrs from arrival.

Domestic Passengers:

It is mandatory for all passengers arriving at Uttar Pradesh to install the Aarogya Setu App and register on https://reg.upcovid.in.

All passengers arriving from the states of Maharashtra and Kerala will have to undergo Covid-19 Rapid Antigen test/RT-PCR test and can exit if found negative. However if any passenger is found positive, all state health protocols will apply.

All passengers arriving at Kanpur from Delhi will have to undergo Covid-19 Rapid Antigen test/RT-PCR test at arrival and can exit if found negative. However if any passenger is found positive, all state health protocols will apply.

Below listed passengers are required to either carry their full vaccination certificate for Covid-19 (both doses) or a negative RT-PCR test report:

  1. Passengers arriving at Uttar Pradesh between July 24 and July 31, 2021 from States with high Covid positive cases (Manipur, Mizoram, Kerala, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Maharashtra, Goa, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh).
    If they carry their RT-PCR report, sample for the test should have been collected between July 20 and July 23, 2021.
  2. Passengers arriving at Uttar Pradesh between August 1 and August 15, 2021 from the list of States which will be published on http://dgmhup.gov.in , on July 24, 2021. This list will be based on the weekly positivity rate (July 16 – July 22).
    If they carry their RT-PCR report, sample for the test should have been collected between July 28 and July 31, 2021.

International Passengers:

All passengers arriving from International flights into India must have the Aarogya Setu App installed on their mobile phones. 

It is mandatory for all arriving passengers to submit a self-declaration form on the online portal –www.newdelhiairport.in, atleast 72 hours prior to their travel. 

RT-PCR test is not required for passengers travelling on international flights to India on direct flights and also not required for passengers who do not wish to seek exemption from institutional quarantine. 

All asymptomatic passengers who are travelling on connecting flights will be exempted from institutional quarantine at the transit city if they are carrying a negative RT-PCR test report which has been conducted within 96 hrs prior to their flight. They can also get the test done at the transit city airport. If the test result is negative, passenger will be permitted to travel further on the domestic flight.    

On arriving at the destination city, all state guidelines will be applicable. 

All asymptomatic passengers arriving from international fights are exempted from institutional quarantine if they are travelling under exceptional and compelling circumstances, such as pregnancy, death in family, serious illness, and parent(s) accompanied by children of the age of 10 years or below, or those who are travelling due to personal distress. However, these passengers will have to undergo mandatory 14 days of home quarantine. Exemption from institutional quarantine can be sought if they have applied for it online on www.newdelhiairport.in, atleast 72 hours prior to their flight.

Passengers may also seek exemption from institutional quarantine by submitting a negative RT-PCR test report on arrival. This test should have been conducted within 72 hrs prior to their flight. The test report should also be uploaded on the portal for consideration, along with a declaration with respect to the authenticity of the report.

Passengers arriving without the negative RT-PCR test report and wishing to seek an exemption from institutional quarantine may also avail the facility available at the airports to undergo RT-PCR testing (where such provisions exist), at their own cost.

All passenger who will be given exemption from institutional quarantine must self-monitor their health.

Passenger arriving without the RT-PCR negative report and not opting for RT-PCR test at the airport (if facility is available)/arriving at an airport where testing facility is not available will have to undergo mandatory 7 days of institutional quarantine followed by 7 days of home quarantine.

Domestic Passengers:

It is mandatory for all passengers arriving at Uttarakhand to register themselves on the Smart City web portal http://smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in prior to their travel. You may also visit this registration link by scanning the QR code provided here.

It is also mandatory for all passengers to carry an RT-PCR/ TrueNAT/ CBNAAT/ RAT negative report from ICMR accredited laboratories; report should not be older than 72 hrs at the time of arrival at Uttarakhand.

Passengers who are fully vaccinated with their second dose being completed 15 days before their arrival at Uttarakhand are exempted to carry any of the above mentioned report. They, however, are required to carry their full vaccination certificate.

Armed forces and their families are exempted from the requirement of carrying the RT-PCR/ TrueNAT/ CBNAAT/ RAT negative report. However, they must register themselves on the Smart City web portal http://smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in prior to their travel.

Below mentioned categories of passengers are advised to travel only if their circumstances are unavoidable:

  • Passengers above the age of 65 years
  • Passengers with co-morbidities
  • Pregnant women
  • Children below the age of 10 years

Domestic Passengers:

Asymptomatic passengers will be permitted to leave the airport with the advice that they shall self-monitor their health for 14 days.

It is mandatory for all passengers travelling to West Bengal to either carry their full vaccination certificate (both doses) or a negative RT-PCR test report; test for RT-PCR report should have been conducted within 72 hrs prior to departure.

Children below the age of two years and passengers in transit who would not be exiting the airport and whose final destination is not West Bengal will be exempted to carry the test report.

Passengers traveling due to the emergency reason of death of kin are exempted from pre-travel Covid-19 test, however they will have to undergo a self-paid test on arrival.

West Bengal does not quarantine asymptomatic passengers & allow them to go to Sikkim.

If a person is on an official duty and is tested negative for COVID-19, he/she will be allowed to perform the duty & return without any restrictions.

Passenger must also fill up and submit the declaration form using Sandhane App developed by H&FW Department West Bengal. http://74.50.58.66/systems/Sandhane/1.2/Sandhane_Gen.apk.

All passengers must take an undertaking that they would undergo home quarantine/self-monitor their health for 14 days or as warranted by the state/appropriate authority.

Passengers must carry their original negative RT-PCR test report along with the print-out of the Self Declaration/PCR updation on the Air Suvidha portal while checking in for the flight.

Additional guideline for passengers originating or transiting through the United Kingdom, Europe or Middle East:

  • Mandatory to undergo a self-paid molecular test upon arrival and proceed for home quarantine/self monitoring of health or take the onward connecting flights to the final destination within India

Additional guideline for passengers originating from the United Kingdom, South Africa or Brazil:

  • In case the passengers’ journey ends at the first port of entry into India, they need to undergo a self-paid molecular test upon arrival and proceed home quarantine/self monitoring of health. They are not required to wait for the test results.

  • In case of onward connection, passenger will have to wait for the RT-PCR test results. Onward journey shall be permitted only if the test result is negative.

Passengers transiting to another Indian city from the port of entry are advised to keep a minimum connecting time of 6-8 hrs from arrival.

Eligibility of passengers to travel on flights INTO INDIA:

  • Stranded Indian nationals.
  • All Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders holding US passports.
  • Foreigners (including diplomats) holding valid visa issued by an Indian Mission in any category covered under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) guidelines dated June 30, 2020. click here to check the MHA guidelines.

Eligibility of passengers to travel on flights OUT OF INDIA:

  • Any Indian national holding any type of valid US visa. Airline will check that there is no travel restriction for Indian Nationals to enter USA with the particular visa category before issue of ticket/boarding pass to the Indian passenger.
  • US citizens, legal permanent residents, and foreign nationals holding valid US visas.
  • Seamen of foreign nationalities; Seamen holding Indian passports would be allowed subject to clearance from the Ministry of Shipping.

Eligibility of passengers to travel on flights INTO INDIA:

  • Stranded Indian nationals.
  • All Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders holding Canadian passports.
  • Foreigners (including diplomats) holding valid visa issued by an Indian Mission in any category covered under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) guidelines dated June 30, 2020. click here to check the MHA guidelines.

Eligibility of passengers to travel on flights OUT OF INDIA:

  • Stranded Canadian nationals/residents.
  • Any Indian national holding any type of valid Canadian visa. Airline will check that there is no travel restriction for Indian Nationals to enter Canada with the particular visa category before issue of ticket/boarding pass to the Indian passenger.
  • Seamen of foreign nationalities; Seamen holding Indian passports would be allowed subject to clearance from the Ministry of Shipping.

All flights between India and UK are suspended w.e.f. December 23, 2020, in view of the emerging Covid-19 situation. Passengers from UK will not be accepted for boarding on any direct/indirect flights to India.

With immediate effect, the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority has suspended all flight operations and/or inbound passenger movement to the UAE from India till further notice.

Even passengers from India who transit through other countries will not be allowed to enter UAE, unless they have already spent 14 days in other countries after leaving India.

UAE nationals, Diplomatic passport holders, Official Delegations and passengers holding UAE Golden Visa are exempted from the aforementioned rule.

As per the directives issued by Government of UAE & Government of India, all passengers travelling on flights to/from UAE must adhere to the below guidelines:


Arriving into UAE:

  • All other passengers travelling to UAE must obtain a pre-travel negative Covid-19 test report from any of the ICMR approved or Pure Health approved laboratories.
  • To check the list of ICMR approved laboratories, please visit - https://www.icmr.gov.in/pdf/covid/labs/archive/COVID_Testing_Labs_02032021.pdf .
  • To obtain the test report from a Pure Health laboratory, you can visit their website at https://preflighttest.com.
  • Reports issued by the below mentioned laboratories will not be accepted:
    1. Suryam Lab (Jaipur)
    2. Dr P.Bhasin Pathlabs Pvt Ltd. (Delhi)
    3. Noble Diagnostic Centre (Delhi)
    4. 360 Diagnostic & Health Services
  • PCR test should be valid no later than 48 hours before departure. The stipulated time frame for accepting the negative Covid-19 reports should start from the date of sample/swab collection and not from the issuance date of the report. The date and time of sample collection and result must be accurately mentioned on the report.
  • All passengers must carry a hard copy of their negative Covid-19 test reports. These test reports must be printed and not hand-written. Hand written reports will not be accepted. It is mandatory for the report to include a QR code which is linked to the original report, for verification purposes by the airlines and validation by the UAE Health Authorities on arrival.
  • PCR test(s) will be carried out upon arrival at the Dubai airport.
  • Passengers will be required to sign an Indemnity document to accept home/hotel quarantine of ten (10) days from the date of arrival.

Arriving into India:

  • Only Indian nationals stranded in UAE, all Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders holding UAE passports ( Click here for OCI details), and UAE national holding valid visa issued by an Indian mission in any category (including diplomats) as per the Ministry of Home Affairs’ guidelines are permitted to travel to India. Please check the guidelines  here
  • A negative RT-PCR test report is mandatory for all international passengers including children and infants arriving in India from UAE. The report should have been conducted within 72 hrs of the flight.
  • All passengers must fill in the Self Declaration Form on the online Air Suvidha portal -   https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration and must also upload their negative RT-PCR test report before the scheduled departure.
  • Passengers must carry their original negative RT-PCR test report along with the print-out of the Self Declaration/PCR updation on the Air Suvidha portal while checking in for the flight.
  • All passengers are required to have the Aarogya Setu App installed on their mobile phones.
  • Exemption from institutional quarantine can be sought if they have applied for it online on   https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration , at least 72 hrs prior to their flight. Alternatively, such passengers can also submit a negative Covid-19 RT-PCR test report on arrival. This test should have been conducted within 72 hrs prior to their flight. Only original copies of the test reports will be accepted at the airport. The test report should also be uploaded on the portal for consideration
  • Passengers including OND domestic, who do not have a valid Covid-19 certificate will have to undergo institutional quarantine on arrival into India at the port of entry.
  • An undertaking must also be submitted for accepting that they would undergo mandatory paid institutional quarantine for 7 days followed by home quarantine for 7 days
  • Passengers without symptoms arriving from international fights are exempted from institutional quarantine if they are travelling under exceptional and compelling circumstances, such as pregnancy, death in family, serious illness, and parent(s) accompanied by children of the age of 10 years or below, or those who are travelling due to personal distress. However, these passengers will have to undergo mandatory 14 days of home quarantine
  • All SpiceJet flights are operating from Terminal 2, Dubai International Airport. With effect from June 24, 2021, 10 am onwards, all flights to and from Dubai will operate from Terminal 1, Dubai International Airport.

  • Note: Documents as mentioned above will be verified by the airport staff at the check-in counters. Passengers will be denied boarding if they are not able to furnish the aforementioned documents and apps.

Eligibility of passengers to travel on flights INTO INDIA:

  • Indian nationals stranded in Oman;
  • All Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders holding passports of Oman; and
  • Nationals of Oman (including diplomats) holding valid visa issued by an Indian Mission in any category covered under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) guidelines dated June 20, 2020 as amended from time to time; click here to check the MHA guidelines.

Eligibility of passengers to travel on flights OUT OF INDIA:

  • Nationals/residents of Oman with valid residency permits are allowed to enter the Sultanate without the requirement for a prior approval.
  • Non-Omani citizens with residency permits who have completed more than 180 days outside Oman or whose visa is expired, shall be required to obtain an approval from their sponsor before planning to travel. This process will be assisted by “Sanad “ offices in Oman, in reference to the duly filled Form 1A and No-Objection certificate which will be provided by the local sponsor.
  • Residents of Oman must have the international health insurance covering the cost of treatment for Covid-19 for a period of at least one month.
  • All passengers traveling to Oman must download and complete their registration on the Tarassud+ App, before arriving at Oman.
  • Indian nationals with existing valid residence / employment visa or those who renewed their existing visas will be permitted to enter Oman, provided they are destined for Oman only. Passengers holding any category of newly issued visa will not be permitted to enter Oman.
    Passengers travelling to Oman for a period of up to 7 days are required to undergo Covid-19 PCR test upon arrival and are required to pay the cost of OMR 25 for the test through the Tarassud+ App.
    Passengers travelling to Oman for more than 7 days are required to undergo Covid-19 PCR test upon arrival followed by 14 days of home quarantine, and are required to pay the cost of OMR 25 for the test through the Tarassud+ App.
    Children aged 15 years and less will be exempted from the Covid-19 PCR test.

Effective November 11, 2020:

All passengers arriving in Oman are required to present a valid and certified negative report for the Covid-19 PCR test conducted within 96 hours prior to the scheduled time of arrival in Oman.

A citizen who test positive after recovering from Covid-19 is allowed to travel to Oman, after providing proof that he has completed the prescribed quarantine period before taking the Covid-19 PCR test prior to departure for Oman.

Eligibility of passengers to travel on flights INTO INDIA:

  • Indian nationals;
  • All Indian visa holders, except on tourist visas and medical visas.
  • All Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders holding passports issued by Bangladesh; and
  • Bangladeshi nationals/residents (including diplomats) and foreigners (including diplomats) holding valid visa issued by an Indian Mission in any category covered under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) guidelines dated June 30, 2020 as amended from time to time. All passengers arriving from Bangladesh into India are required to carry their negative Covid-19 certificates issued within 72 hrs of their travel.

Eligibility of passengers to travel on flights OUT OF INDIA:

  • Nationals/residents of Bangladesh and foreign nationals holding valid visa from Bangladesh;
  • Any Indian national holding any type of valid visa from Bangladesh.

All passengers arriving from India into Bangladesh are required to carry their negative Covid-19 certificates issued within 72 hrs of their travel.

Irrespective of the Covid-19 vaccination, all passengers travelling to Bangladesh shall mandatorily carry their ‘PCR based Covid-19 negative certificate’. It is required to be shown at the airports while departing from India and on arrival into Bangladesh. The PCR test shall be done within 72 hours of the flight departure time.

On arrival into Bangladesh, all passengers originating from any European country including UK, shall have to mandatorily undergo 14 (fourteen) days of self-paid institutional quarantine at the Govt. facilities or the Govt. approved hotels. Upon completion of the mandatory quarantine period, passenger will have to undergo a Covid-19 PCR test and will be released if the test is negative.

Passengers originating from any other countries (except Europe and UK), shall have to mandatorily complete 14 (fourteen) days of home quarantine if no Covid-19 symptoms are found at the arrival health check in Bangladesh. If any Covid-19 symptoms are detected/observed, passenger will have to mandatory undergo 14 (fourteen) days of self-paid institutional quarantine at the Govt. facilities or the Govt. approved hotels.

Arriving into Saudi Arabia

  1. All passengers, including the GCC citizens, must carry a valid passport.
  2. Proof of Vaccine: Passengers arriving into Saudi Arabia are required to show a proof (certificate) of Covid-19 vaccination with any of the vaccines mentioned below:
    • 2 doses of Pfizer BioNTech
    • 2 doses of Oxford AstraZeneca (Covishield)
    • 2 doses of Moderna
    • 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen

    Vaccine certificates must be certified by the official health authorities from the country that provided the vaccination, and the last dose must be received atleast 14 days prior to travelling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

    Vaccine certificates are subject to verification at the checkpoints upon arrival.

    Vaccine certificates must be carried at all times during the stay at Saudi Arabia. Alternatively, passengers must show a proof of their health status through applications and accredited programs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

    Failure to comply with the regulations may lead to legal liabilities in addition to being banned from the entry into the Kingdom.

  3. All non-citizen passengers travelling to Saudi Arabia are required to fill in their immunization data in the vaccination registration website before departure - https://muqeem.sa/#/vaccination-registration/home.
  4. RT-PCR test report: All non-saudi passengers, except those who are below the age of 8 years, must submit a negative Covid-19 PCR test report. The period of the submitted report must not exceed 72 hours before boarding.
  5. Institutional quarantine: All passengers will have to undergo a self-paid 7 days institutional quarantine in the arrival city at their own expense starting from the time of arrival. They must fill the form and take an RT-PCR test on the 7th day of institutional quarantine. They can leave the quarantine if the test result comes out negative.
  6. Exemption from Institutional quarantine: The following categories of passengers are exempted from Institutional quarantine:
    • Saudi citizens, their spouses, mothers and children along with their domestic workers are exempted. However, non-immune travelers, in this category, shall comply with a 7 days of home quarantine and must take a PCR test on the 6th day of quarantine.
    • Non-immune domestic workers accompanying an immune resident are exempted. However, non-immune travelers, in this category, shall comply with a 7 days of home quarantine and must take a PCR test on the 6th day of quarantine.
    • Immune citizens and residents, their spouses and children (under the age of 18 years) who are not accompanied by their parents are exempted. However, non-immune travelers, in this category, shall comply with a 7 days of home quarantine and must take a PCR test on the 6th day of quarantine.
    • Passengers holding a diplomatic visa, diplomats, their residing parents and their domestic workers, provided that they will adhere to the quarantine procedures by staying in their homes in accordance to the MOH approved regulations, are exempted.
    • Official delegates are exempted.
    • Those involved in health supply chains, according to the MOH, are exempted.
    • Health practitioners working in the government sectors, along with their families, and companions under the age of 18, are exempted. They must, however, comply with a 7 days of home quarantine and two PCR tests, one within 24 hours and another on the 7th day of quarantine.
  7. Medical Insurance: Passengers who intend to visit Saudi Arabia should have a medical insurance that covers Covid-19 treatment - costs of treatment in outpatient clinics, emergencies, and hospitals including institutional quarantine for a period of up to 14 days. Saudi Arabian citizens, residents and GCC citizens are not required to have such an insurance.

Arriving into Maldives

  1. Nucleic test (PCR report):

    All passengers, including those who have completed their Covid-19 vaccination, must carry their negative reports for the Nucleic test (PCR report) for arrival into Maldives, test for which should have been taken within 72 hrs prior to arrival.

    Children below the age of 1 year are exempted to carry the test report.

    The RT-PCR report must contain the name of the passengers as per the passport, name and address of the testing laboratory, type of test, date of sample collection along with the result.

  2. Following categories of passengers are permitted to enter into Maldives:
    1. All tourist
    2. Special visa holders
    3. Business visa holders
    4. Foreign diplomats and their accompanying family members
    5. Crew of ships who arrive by air to sign onto a ship
    6. Maldivian nationals, Resident permits and work visa holders
    7. Expatriates travelling to Maldives (must hold a valid visa issued by the Maldives Immigration).
  3. Tourists:
    1. Tourists travelling to Maldives will be provided a visa on arrival. They must have a confirmed hotel reservation for the entire stay in a registered tourist facility.
    2. Till July 25, 2021, tourists shall not be permitted to check into the hotels/guest houses in the residential or inhabitant islands
    3. Effective July 26, 2021 onwards, tourists intending to check-in or stay at tourist facilities in inhabited islands will be permitted if:
      1. they have completed their prescribed dose(s) of a Covid-19 vaccine (as approved by the World Health Organization Emergency Use Listing (EUL) or Maldives Food and Drug Authority), and at least l4 days have passed after the completion of the prescribed dose(s), and;
      2. they hold a negative result for a nucleic acid test (PCR test) for COVID- l9 with sample taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first port of embarkation.
    4. Issuances of tourist visa to tourists travelling from the South Asian countries (i.e. Afghanistan, Pakistan, lndia, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka) will resume with effect from July 15, 2021.
  4. Quarantine:
    1. The following categories of passengers are required to undergo mandatory home quarantine for l4 days at their place of residence or work. Such passengers will also be required to obtain a negative Covid-19 PCR test report before getting released from home quarantine.
      1. Special visa holders whose duration of stay in Maldives will be more than 7 days
      2. Business visa holders whose duration of stay in Maldives will be more than 7 days
      3. Foreign diplomats and their accompanying family members
      4. Maldivian citizens and Work visa holders (Employment visa)
    2. The quarantine period will be reduced to 7 days for passengers who have completed the recommended dose(s) of a Covid-19 vaccine as approved by the World Health Organization Emergency Use Listing (EUL) or the Maldives Food and Drug Authority or any other competent authority of the respective State (like ICMR in India) and at least 14 days have passed after the recommended doses(s). Such passengers must obtain a negative Covid-19 PCR test report before they are released from quarantine.
  5. Work Visa holders:
    1. Passengers with work visa must apply for a pre-approval to travel to Maldives, by email to [email protected]v and copied to [email protected]v . They shall book a government designated quarantine facility/hotel without which they would not be permitted to travel to Maldives from India.
    2. Work visa holders and their dependents travelling to Maldives from the South Asian countries will be required to undergo mandatory quarantine for 14 days in a facility designated by the Health Protection Agency (HPA).
    3. Work Visa holders must obtain a confirmation of their reservation at the designated quarantine facility prior to their travel to Maldives. They would also be required to undergo a self paid RT-PCR test between 48 hrs and 72 hrs after their arrival into Maldives before they get released from quarantine.
  6. Maldivian citizens, other visa holders (except work visa) and their dependents travelling to Maldives will be required to undergo a mandatory home quarantine for 14 days at their home or place of work. They would also be required to undergo a self paid RT-PCR test between 48 hrs and 72 hrs after their arrival into Maldives before they get released from quarantine.
  7. Traveler Health Declaration:  It is mandatory for all arriving passengers to submit the online Traveler Health Declaration available on the Maldives Immigration website portal https://imuga.immigration.gov.mv/ at least 24 hours prior to departure and obtain a verifiable QR code, which would be verified by the Immigration Authorities.
  8. Passengers must follow all Covid-19 health protocols/appropriate behavior at departure, on-board the aircraft and on arrival at all times.

Departure from Maldives

  1. Passengers must abide by all the health requirements of their destination country.
  2. Tourists returning to lndia after their stay in Maldives must obtain a departure PCR test report; test for which should have been taken not more 72 hrs prior to departure from Maldives.
  3. All passengers must submit the online Traveler Health Declaration for departure available on the Maldives Immigration website portal https://imuga.immigration.gov.mv/ only within 24 hours prior to departure.
  4. In case, any passenger experiences any Covid-19 symptom on and/or after arrival, they must report the same at the Covid hotline 1676.

Arriving into Qatar

All passengers travelling to Qatar must adhere to the travel and return policy applicable w.e.f. July 12, 2021.

With effect from July 12, 2021, the State of Qatar will only permit entry to passengers holding tourist or family visa who are fully vaccinated with vaccines recognized by The Ministry of Public Health. They may not be required to be quarantined on arrival.

Indian nationals will be eligible for a free tourist visa on arrival for a period of 30 days extendable to similar period with following conditions:

  1. They must have a passport valid for at least 6 months
  2. Must carry their confirmed return tickets
  3. Must have a confirmed hotel reservation in one of the countries’ hotel during the visit period
  4. They must be fully vaccinated with a vaccine recognized by The Ministry of Public Health, completing a period of 14 days after their last dose. It is mandatory for them to carry their bona fide vaccination certificate mentioning the type of vaccine and the date of administration.
  5. Must have a report confirming negative RT-PCR test completed 72 hrs prior to arrival, with a verifiable QR code on the test report.
  6. It mandatory for all passengers (including infants) to complete the electronic registration on the Ehteraz platform www.ehteraz.gov.qa in order to obtain the approval of The Ministry of Public Health before traveling. Proof of registration must be shown at the check-in counter.
  7. Passengers who have not received both the doses of their vaccination 14 days prior to arrival will NOT be permitted to enter into Qatar.
  8. Must be in possession of an international credit card with the value worth of QAR 5000/- or equivalent to INR 01 lac.
  9. Passengers will also be required to undergo a mandatory self-paid RT-PCR test on arrival.

Similarly citizens of Qatar, residents and GCC residents who are fully vaccinated or are immune following their recovery from Covid-19 in the last 12 months, can return from India to Qatar without the requirement of quarantine.

  • Introduction (Special Assistance):

    Our employees are trained to assist our differently-abled passengers and for any sorts of limitations, we offer a wide variety of special assistance.

    Please be aware that there might be unpredictable circumstances such as weather or mechanical problems that may call for a last minute unavoidable change, but we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

  • Onboard Facilities:

    Following assistance are available on-board SpiceJet’s aircraft:

    • Assistance in moving to and from seats/lavatory.
    • Help in preparation for eating.

    However, we express our inability to provide passengers with any assistance for personal care needs on-board, such as, eating/ drinking, administration of medication, elimination functions including assistance inside the lavatory, or other personal care needs. If you require assistance with any of these, we recommend that you travel with a personal care attendant.

  • Seating accommodation and aircraft accessibility for differently-abled passengers:

    We will do our best to allocate you a seat that is most suitable to your needs. However, in order to meet the safety requirements as prescribed by the DGCA, passengers with mobility limitations which make it unsafe to facilitate aircraft evacuations will not be given a seat in a location where they would obstruct emergency exits, impede the crew in their duties, obstruct access to emergency equipment or hinder aircraft evacuation.

  • Accessible Lavatories:

    A lavatory with a single panel door is available on all our aircraft. Our cabin crew can provide you with assistance moving to and from the lavatory door but will not be able to assist you inside the lavatory.

  • SpiceJet offers special services for the following:
    • Wheelchair users or passengers using wheelchairs (mobility assistance);
    • Passengers travelling with crutches/ braces/ other prosthetic devices;
    • Passengers with Visual Impairment;
    • Passengers Travelling with Certified Guide Dogs;

  • Mobility Assistance:
    • SpiceJet would be more than happy to provide a wheelchair for you, should you require this service. In order to ensure the service meets your needs, our reservation team and/ or the staff may ask you some questions to determine the level of assistance you require. To allow us to provide the best possible assistance, please provide us with as much appropriate information as possible at the time of your booking and/ or at the time of check-in;
    • SpiceJet wheelchair service is provided, with an attendant, at no additional charge to you. The attendant will assist in transporting you within the airport area, to the boarding gate and/ or the aircraft door (depending upon the airport facilities). Our team is trained in transferring techniques, and can assist if you are unable to transfer by yourself from the wheelchair to/ from your seat. However, to have this facility extended to you an advance intimation to SpiceJet is required;

    • Passengers travelling with their own wheelchair differently-abled passengers may use their own manual or battery-powered wheelchair up to the boarding gate and/ or the aircraft door (subject to permission granted by the respective airport authority). SpiceJet allows only manual/ collapsible wheelchairs on all its flights. Unfortunately, battery-powered wheelchair(s) with a wet cell battery shall not be accepted since it’s corrosive in nature and is considered to be a Dangerous Good;
  • Passengers travelling with Crutches / Braces / other Prosthetic Devices:

    Passengers are allowed to use their own crutches, braces and/ or other prosthetic devices up to the aircraft, and may board such items as cabin baggage, provided the passengers are dependent on them.

  • Passengers with Visual Impairment:
    • SpiceJet would request passengers with Visual Impairment to check-in early for their flight (approximately 2-3 hours before the flight departure) for a hassle free experience;
    • If assistance is required within the airport, please make your needs identified at the check-in and/ or at the time of booking;
    • SpiceJet will be able to extend a meet and assist service, individual safety briefings, priority boarding, assistance on-board in moving to and from the seat, reading the menu, helping in boarding and/ or de-boarding and also during flight connections;
    • If you use a cane and/ or other assisting device, it may be carried in the aircraft cabin with you, provided it can be stowed in the overhead compartment. The cane should not block any emergency exit or protrude into the aisle;
    • You may ask our cabin crew for assistance in stowing and retrieving your cane in case it is not collapsible or if it cannot be stowed under your seat.

    All such assisting devices will be carried free of charge. For convenience, you may request our Cabin Crew for the assistance required and we will do our best to assist the passengers in the best possible manner.

  • Passengers with Hearing Impairment

    If you require assistance during your flight with us, we encourage you to let us know how we may best assist you at the time of your booking or during check-in.

    We offer the following assistance:

    • Meet and assist service to escort you to and from the aircraft;
    • Priority boarding.

    We do not require advance notification if you wish to bring onboard hearing aid or assistive listening devices. These devices can be used during all phases of the flight.

    If you plan to bring a transmitting device on-board, please advise us at least 48 hours in advance so we can ensure that it is compliant with the safety requirements.

  • Passengers travelling with Spinal Support Equipment (SSE):

    Passengers must bring their own spinal support equipment and should be fully responsible for its installation, usage and removal. Passenger-supplied spinal support equipment will be carried free of charge. If you are planning to travel with Spinal Support Equipment (SSE), we recommend that you please contact us on +91-124-4983410 / +91-124-7101600, at least 7 (seven) working days prior to departure and inform us of your SSE specifications. Our staff will then check to ensure that whether your equipment can be accommodated safely in the aircraft.

  • Passenger travelling with an assistant for medical purposes:

    For safety reasons, SpiceJet may require some differently-abled passengers to travel with a Safety Assistant that can provide them with assistance in comprehending and responding appropriately to safety instructions from the cabin crew and/or assist them to evacuate the aircraft in the event of an emergency. A Safety Assistant is mandatory if the passenger:

    • Is travelling in a stretcher or incubator or requires medical attention during the flight. The Safety Assistant must be capable of attending to their medical needs;
    • Is unable to comprehend or respond properly to safety instructions due to a cognitive or developmental disability;
    • Has severe mobility impairment, due to which the passenger is unable to evacuate on his own in the event of an emergency;
    • Has severe hearing and vision impairment and cannot communicate with our cabin crew.
  • Passengers having Autism or Intellectual Disability:
    • Passengers with Intellectual disabilities or Down syndrome or Autism can book their flights by contacting SpiceJet’s Reservations at +91-124-4983410 / +91-124-7101600;
    • While making the reservation, please advise us about your specific requirements and the best way to approach and assist in travel;
    • Passengers with intellectual disabilities or Down syndrome or Autism may be required to travel with an Accompanying Passenger.
    • The trained attendant shall carry the treating physician’s certificate along with a prescription for a sedative medicine, which may be administered by the attendant, prior to commencement of travel or as may be required en-route.
    • Passengers with psychiatric and/ or emotional disorders shall always travel with a suitable personal care attendant.
  • Passengers travelling with Internal Medical Devices:

    If you are travelling with an internal medical device, such as a pacemaker or a defibrillator, kindly inform us while making the reservation and also at the airport, to the security personnel conducting your screening, before the process begins.

  • Passengers who require a stretcher:
    • To make a booking for a stretcher request, please inform us no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure of the flight.
    • Passengers are required to take a print-out of the SpiceJet’s medical form (MEDIF) available on the website. The treating physician must fill the form prior to the booking and mail this to [email protected];
    • Based on an assessment by SpiceJet’s internal physician, the passenger will be communicated about the status for their request for stretcher within 24 hours of receiving the duly filled-in MEDIF via e-mail.
    • Please note that SpiceJet reserves the right to have a SpiceJet medical representative meet the passenger at the airport on the date of travel to determine the passenger’s then-current medical fitness to travel on that date.
    • The applicable charge for accommodating request for stretcher in the aircraft shall be the charge for 09 (nine) seats at the prevailing fare plus a Handling Fee for the stretcher is of INR 30,000 (inclusive of service tax and cess).
  • Passenger carrying Portable Oxygen Concentrator (POC):
    • POC is allowed in domestic / international (Boeing and Q-400) direct/ via / connecting flights.
    • POC is allowed in hand baggage & check-in baggage both.
    • Request for carriage of Portable Oxygen Concentrator (POC) in flight should be sent to [email protected] at least 48 hours prior to flight departure.
