The Government Employee Fare is applicable for all domestic direct flights. To book under this category, passengers are required to provide their official government ID.

    Bookings made under the Government Employee Fare include the following benefits:
    • Complimentary seat (Non-SpiceMax)
    • Complimentary meal
    • Zero convenience fee
    • Flat fee of ₹500 for changes or cancellations of bookings
    • 50% discount on You1st (You1st is a product that offers priority services for check-in, boarding and baggage delivery)
    • 25% discount on SpiceMax (SpiceMax is a product that offers seat with more legroom, priority services and meal with beverage)
    • Hold time of 6 hours for bookings made at least 72 hours in advance

    The availability of seats is limited and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Certainly, family members of a government employee are eligible to enjoy the benefits of booking under the Government Employee Fare when the employee is transferred to a different location/city. If family members are traveling independently, they must always carry a photocopy of the official ID card of the government employee.

  1. The booking(s) under the category of Government Employee Official Travel (hereinafter 'GEOT') can only be made online at SpiceJet Limited's (hereinafter 'SpiceJet') website, i.e., www.spicejet.com, by opting for the category 'Government Employee Official Travel'.
  2. This facility is extended to the employees of the state government and central government, PSUs, employees of public sector banks, employees of educational institutions recognized by the state government, or those who are part of any university or educational board recognized by the central or state government.
  3. The benefits of booking under the GEOT category can also be availed of by family members of a government employee in the event of the transfer of such employee to a different location or city.
  4. Passengers are required to carry their 'official ID card' of the government institution that they are part of. In the event that the family members of any government employee who have made the booking under this GEOT category are traveling alone, such passengers shall at all times carry a photocopy of the official ID card of the person employed in the government organization. Passengers not in possession of the above-mentioned valid official government ID shall not be accepted for check-in or boarding.
  5. The booking GEOT category can only be made for domestic sectors and direct flights.
  6. The bookings made under this category are non-transferable, and changes in the name of the passenger are not permissible.
  7. A flat fee of ₹500 per passenger per flight shall be levied for cancellation or modification of the bookings made under this category. In case of any modification in the booking under this category, the applicable fare difference shall be paid by the passenger.
  8. The inventory under the GEOT category is limited and is served on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event the customer cannot find inventory under this category, he or she may choose to travel on a different date when the inventory is available or can choose the normal class fare.
  9. SpiceJet reserves the right to modify, alter, amend, and/or change any and/or all of the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. SpiceJet also reserves the right to withdraw and/or cancel this offer at any time without prior notice.
  10. In the event of any misuse and/or abuse by the customer, SpiceJet reserves the right to deny, withdraw, or cancel the relevant booking(s).
  11. Any person availing of the benefits or making a booking under the GEOT category is deemed to have accepted all the terms and conditions as specified herein.
  12. Any dispute arising out of the offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts situated in New Delhi, India.
