  • Sultan Battery
    Sultan Battery is a watchtower that was constructed by Tipu Sultan to watch the entry of warships into the Gurpur River. Built in black stones, it gives the impression of a miniature fortress with its arrangements for mounting cannons all-round.
  • New Mangalore Port
    New Mangalore Port, established in 1974 and located in Panambur near Mangalore, known by the name of New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT) is the one and only one major port of Karnataka. It has the distinction of the ninth biggest port of India. Its construction got completed in 12 years.

    It is stationed to north of confluence of Gurupura river to Arabian sea. The port serves neighbourhood of Karnataka state and to some degrees state of Kerala.
  • Lighthouse Hill Park
    Also know as Tagore Park is a beautiful park and a favorite hangout for the youngsters. It is located in the heart of the city. The view of the sea from here is marvelous, you can also get to see the ships sailing and watch the sunset from here. The garden also surrounds a old light house with full of huge trees and flowering plants.
  • St. Aloysius Church
    St. Aloysius Church is situated 1 km away from Nehru Maidan Bus stand. Built in the year 1899-1900, the walls of the church are covered with the paintings of the artist Antony Moshaini of Italy. St. Aloysius College Chapel, an architectural gem, comparable with the Sistine chapel in Rome, is situated on lighthouse hill. The special beauty of the chapel is the wonderful series of paintings that virtually cover every inch of the interior roof and walls.
  • Kudroli Gokarnath Temple
    An important temple in Mangalore, Kudroli Gokarnath Temple, built in 1912, is one of the main attractions of Mangalore. Sri Gokarnanatheshwara temple is a unique temple built by Sri Narayana Guru, the saint and social reformer from Kerala, and is the only one in Karnataka by Guru.
