SpiceJet stands tall in the Indian skies yet again!
Emerges India’s most punctual airline with the highest OTP for the 4th successive month
Registers highest PLF for the 22nd month in a row

Gurgaon, 17 February, 2017: SpiceJet, the country’s favourite carrier, continues its dominance in the aviation space by clocking the highest industry OTP (On-time performance) and PLF (Passenger load factor) for the month of January 2017 as per the statistics released by DGCA.

This is the fourth month in a row that the airline has topped the OTP charts. The airline also topped the PLF metrics for the industry at 93.6 and invincibly stood tall having garnered over 90% PLF for the 22nd month in a row.

During January 2017, SpiceJet registered the highest OTP of 71.6% much ahead of all its peers and also topped OTP for the individual metro of Hyderabad with 86.4%. The airline also registered one of the lowest industry cancellations.

“SpiceJet has excelled on all operational parameters yet again and emerged as the country’s most punctual airline for the fourth successive month. We have had the best on-time performance in tough weather conditions and will continuously strive to better ourselves,” said Ajay Singh, CMD, SpiceJet.

SpiceJet, which operates on an average 343 daily flights, carried almost 12.29 lakh passengers during the month of January 2017.
