On the occasion of Diwali, SpiceJet today yet again surprised the customers by putting
up a live “Mariachi-style” singing-while-walking performance of popular and classic
Hindi songs at the check-in counters at Delhi airport’s T1D terminal. A group of six
singers and two singer-guitarists representing our ground staff, cabin crew, and
customer service departments, and selected through a ‘SpiceJet has got talent’
competition over the last few days, performed 7-8 minute sessions for the passengers at
various points throughout the day. Festive cheer was spread across the airport and many
passengers were seen joining the SpiceJet staff in their live performance. This
performance was arranged in cooperation with DIAL, and represents yet another way
SpiceJet is bringing warmth, color, and joy with all their hearts to the flying public
in India.
