- Shaniwar Wada
Built in 1736 by Peshwa Bajirao I, Shaniwar Wada was once the erstwhile residence of the Peshwas. A seven storied structure once, it was gutted by a fire in the palace and only the fortification walls with five gateways and nine bastions are left.
